Announcement   Handmade lampwork glass beads, leather cords, european charm beads, large hole beads, big hole beads, artisan beads, glass sculpture, tutorials and changeable jewelry sterling silver / changeable jewellery sterling silver, rings and pendants. Custom orders most welcome.

ABOUT ME : I am a French flameworker who lives and work in beautiful Switzerland. I started teaching beadmaking and sculptural techniques almost 15 years ago. I have my own teaching studio in Lausanne, in the French speaking part of Switzerland.
I work exclusively with soft glass because I love the way it flows. My work has been widely published and I am very happy to be able to present it to you here.

I am a self-representing artist (SRA) and I believe Etsy to be an interesting alternative to the global economy crisis. Buying handmade directly from the maker is the best way to make your voice heard in the modern high finance-driven market !

Thanks for your interest in my work !

About

Handmade glass beads and sculptures

After spending the first 10 years of my professional life as a research scientist, I decided to change courses and go full time into arts, in which I had always been heavily involved, as I needed to find another focus for my life. I have come to glass first through fusing but I quickly turned towards beadmaking and flameworking in general. I have studied with American and Venetian master flameworkers.

My work has been published in several books and magazines over the world.

I started teaching beadmaking in 2002 and opened my own studio in 2003 in Switzerland. My current brick-and-mortar shop, where I both teach and sell my work, is in the old town of Lausanne.

For many years, I sold my work on Ebay and this taught me a lot about selling over the internet. I discovered Etsy a couple of years ago and after observing the way it worked for a time, I realized that it was the perfect place to display my work, a place where high quality handmade pieces have their place and where buyers and makers are in direct contact... which I think is a very important feature to counteract the negative aspects of globalization.

Custom and personalized orders

MADE TO ORDER means that the item is not currently in stock. Fabrication starts once your payment has cleared. The finished item will be as close as I can make it to the one displayed in the listing pictures but there may be little variations due to its handmade nature. I will send you pictures for approval prior to shipping.

CUSTOM ORDERS are welcome. Please contact me before placing the order so that we can agree on content and timeframe. The work on your order will start once your payment has cleared but you will of course get a picture of the finished items before they are sent, to check that the order corresponds to what you want.

Tracking

Tracking is not automatic. It is available as an upgrade for an additional 6.80 USD. The seller cannot be held responsible for delayed or lost orders if the buyer has not purchased the Tracking option.
