With each sip, this beautifully-crafted cup, adorned with an image of the Goddess, reminds one of the Divine Feminine.

When peace seems elusive in the world, this lovingly-crafted cup, adorned with dove and olive branch, is a fine reminder of what matters most.

About

Hello there and welcome to Anne Marie's Pottery. Let me tell you a little about my journey into this fantastic realm of clay and hand made pottery.

At Anne Marie's Pottery, I personally make all of my pottery by hand in my studio. Each piece is lovingly formed on my potter's wheel. I carefully choose my glazes to accent the lines of each vessel. Because of this, each pot is it's own unique work of art.

I first discovered my love of pottery almost 30 years ago after watching a master potter working his wheel. To my then untrained eye, it appeared that the potter made the clay rise up almost as if by magic. I was hooked! Later I became a student of the master potter who had so inspired me. While training under him, I also began taking classes at various Colleges and Universities as well as attending many workshops in the region.
I have spent years studying and developing a diverse understanding of the traditions of pottery, but I also began early on to explore my own unique direction. In the years that followed, I began working in various clay mediums, all centered around my potter's wheel and kilns.
Today my primary focus is functional pottery, tableware, and gifts for the home. I particularly enjoy creating items you would use every day. I choose my glazes carefully to emphasize the lines and shapes of each vessel. From the very beginning when I am working the clay into the shape it is to become, to the final glazing and firing process, I find each step magical and realize how lucky I am to being doing something I love.

What I wish to convey to my friends and customers is this sense of individual hand-made quality for each piece of pottery that you use.
From your morning cup of coffee in your favorite mug to that late night bowl of ice cream, I hope to impart my sense of wonder and joy in the pieces I create for you.

I hope you enjoy browsing and if you'd like a custom piece, please let me know and we can work it out. I frequently make a set of mugs or bowls for individuals as well as businesses. I'd be glad to talk to you about it.

I am proud to add a new collection of hand beaded utensils to my Etsy site. These utensils are all hand beaded by me and are great for gifts as well as adding some extra bling and sparkle to your serving table.

Also, I will ship anywhere outside of the U.S.--please convo me and I will try to find the least expensive shipping option for you.
Thanks so much for visiting!
Sincerely,
Anne Marie Lemke
