Stunning period assemblage. I adore the use of the optometrist lens as the frame and of course the narrative and the key. Just great simplicity and beauty. Thank you for so carefully packaging my purchase to arrive undamaged by the rigors of shipping and in a very timely manner. I will certainly be back.

About

The AnnieLorraine Story

My shop is named after my two biggest supporters; Annie, my mother-in-law and Lorraine; my mother. They always encouraged me and any venture I tried was because of their support.

Creating jewelry was not my first forage into the arts. Originally I created folk art painting, crewel embroidery, and sewing primitive dolls. I've been involved is some type of crafting for most of my life.

I love working with tintypes and old photos. I call them wearable memories. Seeing old photos or tintypes in a pile at a flea market saddens me as I feel they had no one left in the world. I feel that I am rescuing them so they can continue on their journey with a different family.

I hope you know when you buy a piece of my jewelry that you will be the only person in the world wearing that particular piece. I do not make duplicates.

I have created quite a few custom pieces using family photos, mementos and found objects. I work closely with my customers requesting custom pieces to make sure that my vision of the completed piece is the same as theirs.

The "past " gives me inspiration to create in the "present."
