My name is Anita and I am now retired after working many years with IT.
At last, I have more time to do what I love most: Crafting! Crochet, knitting, embroidery, tatting, making miniatures and designs. And everything else that I would like to do but hasn't started with yet. I will never have a dull moment, always busy creating.

Ever since I was a little girl I have loved to create things and my crochet hooks have been my best friends for many years.

The very first Forest Troll that I crocheted I made for my sister in law. She loves trolls and has quite a collection. Thinking I would make more than one, I took notes, and by the time it was finished I had a pattern that I could share with others. I am happy that so many liked it! It is such a joy to see new trolls being created. Each one is so cute and unique.

I have been fascinated by miniatures all my life. When my daughter was just a small girl we made miniature food with polymer clay. Apples, bananas, oranges, meatballs and potatoes on a plate with gravy, and much more. Now my first dollhouse is being built (thank you, dear husband!) I started to create all the little things that are going to be in it. Making my first paper plant, the Monstera, I made many errors and it took a long time to figure out the best way to make them. Doing so, I did as with the crochet patterns; I took notes. I wanted them to be as real-looking and easy-to-make as possible. The procedure is similar regardless of plant, so finally, I had ten plants that I compiled into a template with a tutorial, Miniature Houseplants I. I love plants and you cannot have too many of them, so Houseplants II and III was born.
I take great pleasure in making tutorials that are easy to follow. No need for other people to make the same mistakes as I did initially.

My father taught me to tat many years ago. It is a strange craft, even though I make mistakes and it takes forever to correct them by untying knots and opening up rings I just love to tat. It is a joy to be able to create delicate lacy motifs.
