I LOVE this tumbler. It is the same size as my favorite latte mug so I am using it for coffee and iced tea. It also is a perfect fit for the cup holder in my car. It is such a fun loooking tumbler - everyone who has seen it has commented on it.

I have a compulsive need to make and decorate. As a child I would spend my time decorating the rocks in our backyard with crayons and dreaming up elaborate craft projects. As an adult I still spend my time dreaming up elaborate craft projects. Pottery gives me wonderful surfaces for painting and drawing, plus I get to create my own forms. I throw my pottery on a potter's wheel and I also handbuild my pottery from slabs of clay that I lay on handmade molds. I use a terra-cotta low-fire clay that I glaze with one of two methods. Either I cover the clay with white slip and colored underglazes and clear glaze or I cover the clay with an opaque white majolica glaze that has colorants painted onto the raw glaze surface.

Additional policies and FAQs
All of my pottery is made with lead-free food-safe glazes. I recommend hand-washing the pots, but I have not had problems with the dishwasher. I don't recommend putting the pottery in the microwave because it can get very hot to the touch. Every pot is handmade and unique and they are not meant to match--which I think is a good thing--it makes eating and drinking more fun.
