Announcement   Gnomes are everywhere. Lately, they have been my main focus during these short days and long nights. these little guys were manifested out of my pen and brush, and each one has it's own personality and being- each one is intricately draw, tiny-weeny miniature perfection. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have enjoyed drawing them into this world. May they lighten your spirits!

I am an artist. My work is influenced by life! magic and mystery, darkness and lightness, definitely strangeness. I don't confine myself creatively to any medium, I enjoy sewing original designs, illustrating, painting, drafting, felting.

A little story...I grew up in a spiritual community in the woods of upstate new york. this community was technically a Sufi community, in actuality it was an amalgamation of various cultural, religious, spiritual practices, beliefs under the philosophical umbrella that we are all One under the rule of Love, Harmony, and Beauty.
The buildings that the community called home were old Shaker dorms, barns, workshops- a collection of spaces built with efficiency, simplicity, and function in mind.
The people who moved through these spaces were not built with these same foundations. Especially in the summer months an amazing parade of colorful characters moved through these simple spaces- whirling dervishes, sheikhs, Buddhist monks, modern dancers, wiccans, long bearded white hippies returning from mecca, young sojourners. They came to work on the community's organic farm, to meditate in the herb gardens, to find spiritual ecstasy.
The fringes of their persons were incidentally collected in the community "Free Store" located on the top floor of the old red barn, the floorboards so ancient that you could see through the cracks to the floor below. Here on hangers, in dressers, in piles were the discarded clothing, the textile's origins ranging from the 60's disco, to the middle east. This is where the conception for these BollyPunk Cuffs originate and now it's up to you to write the rest of their story.
