These are amazing! Perfectly made and such a great idea!
I need them to stay packaged until April for my wedding but I just want everyone to know how amazing Katie is. My office staff messed up and sent my package back even though my shipping information was correct. Katie took the time to make sure that she called the local USPS office and do everything in her power to make sure that those things came back to me. It took an extra two weeks and she kept up with me the entire time. They turned out amazing and I can't wait for my bridesmaids to have them in my wedding next April.
Giving Old Books New Life
When I first opened Anthology On Main, it was a potpourri kind of shop where I was able to express my diverse love of arts and crafts. Little did I know when I added book page items, that my story had only just begun!
Now my shop is solely focused on book page items: bridal bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages, wreaths and more. Every single flower is handmade by myself. I start each flower with a single flat page, then hand cut it, hand form it, and secure it with glue. The process is lengthy, but love is poured into each flower I make.
Because books are my medium, I strongly believe it is important to recycle as well as promote literacy. I only purchase used books for use in my items. Many books come from the 'discard' shelf of my local library; others come from a company which donates one book to someone in need for every book I buy.
In addition to responsible sourcing of materials, I believe it is also important to support our local communities. 10% of each sale from my shop is donated to an organization with a mission of helping underprivileged children and women in the Kansas City area. Past charities include Backpacks for Hunger and A Child's Hope. To date, your purchases have directly provided 50 children who are at risk of weekend hunger with backpacks of food every weekend for the entire school year! You've also been a part of providing over 100 teens aging out of the foster care system with basic necessities they will need to start living independently.
For 2016, donations will go to Veronica's Voice. This organization helps to permanently free women and girls from sex trafficking and prostitution in the Kansas City area by providing a program including housing, medical services, education (GED completion and/or vocational training) as well as basic life skills, all free of charge to the participants.

I'm Katie. I was born and raised in Iowa, married a Kansas farm boy with whom I have two awesome children, lived in Texas for 3 years, and now we're back home in the Kansas City area with our two children.

All orders shipping to addresses within Kansas will be charged sales tax.
Your order will be wrapped in either bubble wrap or a plastic bag to keep your item safe from moisture, then placed in a sturdy, clean box surrounded by recycled packing peanuts. Whenever possible, I will reuse boxes and other packing materials in an effort to reduce my shop's carbon footprint. I hope that you will reuse or recycle the packing materials used to ship your order to you!
All orders will be shipped via either USPS or UPS.
***Please note that delivery times can vary greatly with USPS and only Express Mail is guaranteed. Once a package has been shipped, I can not control the speed or accuracy of delivery. If delivery of your item is time sensitive, I strongly recommend using UPS.***
Many items are shipped via USPS Priority Mail International, which takes an estimated 6-10 business days for delivery to major markets. Some small items will be shipped via USPS First Class International Mail and can take up to 6 weeks to arrive.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMS FEES
You, the customer, are responsible for any and all import duties, taxes, VAT, or other charges imposed by your country. As a resident of your country it is your responsibility to know and understand these fees. Many countries will not deliver a package until all fees have been paid. Most postal services will leave a notice that your item is ready for pickup, however, sometimes these papers "go missing". To help you know when your item has arrived, you will be provided a tracking number upon shipment of your order. It is your responsibility to check for updates on delivery status.
Please be advised that if you are sending a gift directly to someone outside the US, the recipient is still responsible for all taxes, fees, etc. It is unlawful for me, as the seller, to mark an item as a gift. To avoid fees charged to the recipient, please have your order shipped directly to you. As the actual gifter, you can then ship the item to the recipient, denoting it as a gift.
Refunds and Exchanges
A non-custom order may be canceled as long as it has not been marked as "shipped".
CANCELLATION OF CUSTOM ORDERS
Custom orders may be canceled within 24 hours of placing the order without incurring any fees. Since a custom order is personalized to your specifications, once it has been started, fees will be assessed to cancelled orders after the 24 hour period has passed. These fees will be equal to the percentage of your order that has been completed. Photographic evidence will be provided to you of work completed.
Sometimes a package has gone through a lot before it is delivered. Because of this, nearly all orders are shipped with insurance. If there is a problem with your order, please convo me right away to discuss options of replacement or refund. It is also important that you keep and photograph all damage to the item(s) and packaging, as this information will be necessary for filing a claim with the delivery carrier.
RETURN OF NON-CUSTOM ORDERS
Non-custom orders may be returned for a refund of the purchase price minus original shipping costs. You are also responsible for payment of return postage. Once the item has been received by me in the same condition in which it was originally shipped, your refund will be issued. It is recommended that you purchase insurance and tracking on your return shipment.
RETURN OF CUSTOM ORDERS
Custom orders may not be returned as the item has been specifically customized to your specifications.
