Best Practices for Printing
Choosing the paper which will be most suitable for your art is important. Ask to see paper samples.
Consider how deep and saturated the colours are; if your artwork is heavily detailed with large areas of rich colour you may need a heavier paper to absorb the ink and prevent the paper from cockling.
Consider artistic style – for example, light, watercolour brushstrokes may suit a more textured looking paper, but If you want to print sharp, monochrome images, smooth photographic paper may be better.
We always recommend using fine art premium paper (matte or semi matte), matte photo paper or canvas (rolled or stretched), to get that authentic vintage feel.
Printing from Home
In case you are printing from home, be sure to disable color correction in your printer settings and enable "fit to page" at 300 dpi quality . For online print services, follow the instructions provided by the company's website, many of these company's offer different paper choices.
