<-------About Turquoise------>
Turquoise is a natural stone found in many locations throughout the world. American mines in the southwest produce some of the highest quality turquoise available. Many mines have their own characteristic turquoise and are highly desirable. Each piece of jewelry is labeled with the mine the turquoise came from (if known), as well as any enhancements made to it. I generally use only natural turquoise, but occasionally have stabilized turquoise (The stabilization process strengthens the stone and can help the stone maintain its color).

Natural turquoise is a soft stone with hues of blue and green caused by different levels of iron and copper. With wear and exposure to the elements, it is common for the stone to change to a darker color over time. To help prevent this treat your turquoise jewelry with care. Avoid chemicals, washing, swimming, and cleaning while wearing your jewelry and remove it at night. Take care of your turquoise and you will enjoy it for a very long time!

About

Beauty in Nature

After years of working with beads and wire, I made the move to metalsmithed work in 2014. Now I'm working full-time producing one of a kind sterling silver jewelry. Each piece is made completely by hand, including each tiny feather, flower and animal. I draw inspiration from the natural world that I surround myself with, and work to capture it in wearable art.
