THE ENVIRONMENT MATTERS TO US!
* Our company is based on a circular economy model, which works hand in hand with nature. We only use none toxic mordants, low temperatures and all our dye and drinking water needs are met by using collected rainwater, filtered for drinking, of course. Once the dye has been extracted from the natural (organic if possible) material, the dye stuff is composted in our wormery. The dye water, once used, is pumped through 3 settlement tanks, several planted gravel and sand filters and 2 further settlement tanks, before being drip fed into an evergreen woodland acting as the final and last biological filter in the chain. We contracted engineers and waste water specialist Ollan Herr to create this filtration system.
** All our packaging ( including stickers) are either made from vegetable starch or recycled paper and are fully compostable and recyclable.
*** Our Wormery is a big part of our business. It not only composts used dye matter, but also excess cardboard & food waste. it takes about 6months for one of our big worm bins to be ready for emptying. The compost is full of nutrients and can be used for planting straight away. Another great by product is 'worm juice'. A lot of liquid is created during the composting stages and it does wonders to your flowers!

OTHER NOTES:
*We update stock quantities regularly, but it can happen that an ordered article has already been sold, but is still displayed as "available" in the shop.
**Sale items can not be exchanged or returned.

5 out of 5 starsAs always the quality of the felt is beautiful and exactly as described. I have bought from this shop several times and delivery was really quick and packaging great with no plastic. A great shop and customer service.

5 out of 5 starsThis is very nice, but I am looking for thinner felt. I wasn't familar with the way it was measured. It is too thick for stuffed animal patterns that I was wanting to use it for. But that being said, it is my fault for not investigating further.

5 out of 5 starsBeautiful linen yarn. I use it to mend vintage mud cloth, and it's great! Thanks a lot.
