Additional policies and FAQs
Please read the entire item description and our policies. These contain important information for the buyer.

Most or our designs are applique, but a few, such as words, phrases, outline designs and some small size designs, may be all fill stitch. They will be called "Embroidery" designs and not applique in the title and description.

Many of our designs contain some fill stitch in areas that are too small for applique, such as eyes, mouth, eyebrows and eyelashes, some arms and legs, bows, hands, etc. This is done to keep the details of the design without crowding the cover/satin stitch. Please look closely at the listing picture to see where the fill areas are. Some designs can not be made without some fill stitch due to the amount of details in the design.

Some of the smaller sizes, such as 2X2, 3X3, 4X4 may have some additional fill stitch to allow us to offer them in the smaller sizes. Many of our customers are only able to use 4X4 hoops and we like to make as many designs available to them as possible.

Your designs also come with a color chart, please look that over before starting your project.

Please note**** We can not re-digitize our designs to accommodate each customers wishes. They are sold as shown in the listing picture and described in the listing****.

If there is a problem with the stitch out of the design, please contact us, we will be happy to help. Please be sure to include detailed pictures when you contact us. We can usually pinpoint the problem very quickly and offer suggestions to correct it.

Some common problems can be corrected easily.

Listen to your machine: You can usually hear when it's not sewing quite right.

Re-thread your machine. Even a very small flaw in your thread or it not being threaded properly can be a big headache

Check your needle : Many problems only require changing a dull needle. Even new needles can be defective and create problems.

Check your hoop. A common problem with applying appliques on knit/stretch fabric, including tee shirts, is hooping the fabric either too tight and stretching it, or not tight enough, and the fabric shifts while sewing. It should be hooped just tight enough to hold the fabric firm without stretching it. Some knits require double stabilizer and/or a wash-away stabilizer on top of the design.

Sticky stabilizer is fantastic for holding fabric in place while stitching out appliques.

Make sure your hoop is attached properly

Check your machine settings and always do a test run before adding a design to your project, to be sure everything is working well.

We can not offer support for files that have been altered in any way. We are not responsible for damages caused by machine or software malfunction or user error.

It is always recommended that you test any design you purchase before putting it on your project.

Embroidery machines are unpredictable and misbehave at the worst times.

Because our design files are locked to keep them from being altered, the design will NOT sew properly if it is altered in any way, including re-sizing. If it is opened in any design editing software and saved with that software it will not sew correctly. Even if no changes were made.

If you do choose to alter the design against our wishes, you do so at your own risk, we can not offer any support for an altered design. We are telling you here that there is a 99% chance, if you alter it, it will NOT sew correctly. That is not a problem with the digitizing.

The cover/satin stitch will decrease or increase in width, depending on whether you increased or decreased the size...even slightly.

The density of the stitches may also be altered and can cause gaps and uneven stitching.

The position, material and cover/satin stitch positions might not be aligned properly, leaving gaps between the fabric placement, the tack down and cover stitching.

Even if it re-sizes okay, if you are not careful to select every piece of the design, some parts will re-size and some won't, leaving a horrible mess.

Please consider all of these things before attempting to alter our designs. We do not allow our designs to be altered in any way, but, unfortunately, people still keep trying.

We can not offer any support for problems resulting from the design files being altered/edited in any way.
