April's Violets made me a gorgeous pair of earrings to help me replace a pair of hers that I had previously purchased but lost. She was so helpful and willing to work with me. I really appreciated her professionalism and friendliness. And I got earrings that I love again. I have received many compliments when I wear them. Don't hesitate to buy from her store!

About

Beads travel through time and distance to tell their stories...

It all started when I was a girl, with long beaded necklaces and embellished jeans. Somehow during these hobby years, my love and fascination for beads became serious. As I learned how beads have traveled through history to come into our hands, I became fascinated and started a serious bead collection. My vintage beads are at least 50 years old, some are a hundred years old and more.
I love Swarovski crystal, new and vintage, and like to work with the amazing handblown lampwork beads of my favorite contemporary bead artists.
Added to these are gold vermeil, sterling silver, wood, and gemstone beads.
I hope that my creations will speak to you when you hold them in your hands.....it is my hope that they, too, will travel with you through the years!

Welcome to my shop!

My business relies on word-of-mouth recommendations and loyal repeat customers, so I do everything in my power to make sure that you are delighted with your purchase and your experience with my shop.

Some of my vintage beads are over 200 years old, and no two lampwork beads are identical, as they are painstakingly handmade by real artisans. Most of my lampwork beads are at least 60 years old, and have never been previously used.

My crystals are new and vintage Swarovski elements, and in metals I work with gold vermeil (gold over sterling silver) and sterling silver. Some of my fancy earring posts are made with gold or sterling over pewter. All my metals are nickel-free.

All the items in the shop have been made by me, personally, by hand.

Please let me know if you need a different kind of post or wire; usually I can convert the earrings at no cost.

I welcome your contact and love to talk about beads...feel free! I do many custom and modified orders.

Slight color variations between our monitors and devices are normal. I photograph on white backgrounds in natural light to help show glass colors as truly as possible.
You can also find color information in the item description. If you would like more information about an item, or need additional pictures, contact me.
