Welcome to my shop! Here you will find affordable original artworks, released in small series of carefully crafted art prints and canvases; perfect for starting or completing your art collection, finding a unique art gift for a special occasion (birthday, anniversary, graduation, wedding, housewarming) or simply adding an original touch to your home or office's wall decor.

Creating art has always been an important part of my life. My main training and professional career is as a musician (composer and educator). A few years ago, I picked up an interest in intermedia art, combining music and visuals. From there, I became increasingly interested in the visual aspect, and started engaging seriously with the creation of digital artworks. Some of these creations are presented in this Etsy shop. You can also visit my online gallery at www.arbdigitalarts.com, for a more complete view of my visual works.

The majority of the artworks presented here belong to the category of "Altered Art": they use as their starting point an existing artwork (whose author is always credited in the item description), which is then altered digitally to create the final product. Some of my works stay very close to the original (sometimes less is more!), others transform it completely. I have also recently started experimenting "Mashup" works, which combine two (or more) existing artworks into one original piece.

Thank you for reading, and for visiting my gallery. If you have more questions about my art, or my processes and techniques, feel free to message me your questions, I'll be happy to answer them if I can. And if you enjoyed something during your visit, feel free to favorite an item, or my shop, and help putting these artworks in front of more people like you :)

About the artist

Creating art has always been an important part of my life. My main training and professional career is as a musician (composer and educator). A few years ago, I picked up an interest in intermedia art, combining music and visuals. From there, I became increasingly interested in the visual aspect, and started engaging seriously with digital and generative art. Many of my artworks are made by editing and altering images through digital manipulation, using either original photographs, or existing images, including classic paintings. Others are designed through programming, using Processing (www.processing.org), an open-source Java-based environment for visuals.

Trained as a composer, I started a few years ago to explore the interaction between music and visuals. I then begun spending more time creating purely visual works, and I am now sharing these works with the world on Etsy. Thank you for visiting!
