About

Can't stop the art!

There is only so much art or jewelry you can make for friends and family before you have to start looking outward. I started this shop with papercut bookmarks and a few polymer clay items, but I knew it would expand somehow over the years.

Every item in my shop is made by me with my own hands.

I was a librarian for several years, with some money for creating but only after working hours. After I was laid off in the Great Recession, I did odd jobs and studied Graphic Design. I am finally a librarian again, but still trying find out what will make my Etsy shop appeal to buyers.

    While teaching English as a Foreign Language in Taiwan, the Republic of China and in Japan, I was surrounded by papercutting art and other arts. After returning to the U.S., I discovered polymer clay, then bead embroidery.

I hope you enjoy my art!
My primary style is a kind of arabesque: Decorative ornamentation of interlacing curves and flowing lines based on fruit, floral, and animal symbols.
Phyllomania is the excessive love of leaves. :)
I have done other styles for custom orders that requested other styles.
My main materials or interests are paper cutting and patterns, polymer clay and beading.

Payment
There have been problems with customers not paying for goods. If you are new to Etsy and having trouble paying, convo me!

If you do not complete payment right away, I will convo you to see if there is a problem. If you don't pay within three days of purchasing, I will relist the item for someone else to buy.
Texas residents will add state sales tax during payment.
-- For buyers outside of the U.S., I only accept payment by Paypal.
-- Payments by Paypal must be made immediately when placing order. If payment is not received within 24 hours, your order will be cancelled and the item relisted.
-- Please convo me about any problems regarding Paypal.
Shipping
Items will ship within five business days of payment unless we agree on something else.
I live in Central Standard Time, CST.
-- Will ship USPS, within the U.S.
-- Jewelry is enclosed in a gift bag or box.

<INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING>
-- The offer of four bookmarks for a discounted rate with free shipping is for *domestic* shipping. The last time I did international shipping for more than a bookmark, it cost $4.09 just for First Class mail. Delivery confirmation would have bumped it to $32!

<SHIPPING: PRIMARY AND SECONDARY>
