In my little shop.

Simple. I enjoy designing and bringing functional items to life in my woodshop.

Friends describe my shop as a Rube Goldberg machine. Tucked away in our low-ceilinged basement, I’ve squeezed a variety of tools into a 15 ft. x 19 ft space, complete with a dust collection system that winds its way with a network of arterials around the walls with spurs to the floor and ceiling. Gates open and close the vacuum ports in an interconnected system of levers and switches that hang from the ceiling and foot pedals on the floor. I almost have as much fun designing functionality into my shop as I do from designing functional items for the home.
