About

I am an animist and a witch; I am an herbalist and an artist.

I am most inspired by the natural flow of life around and within me. It shows up in all my work, no matter the medium. In as much as we are products of our natures, so am I shaped by the things I create.

Most plant products for sale in my apothecary have been harvested from the wild Sonoran desert that surrounds my small town. The rest are from my garden. Each item's origin is described in its listing, but if you're not sure, ask.

All animal parts are collected after natural death; these are things I happen upon during my hikes. Absolutely nothing in my shop comes from an environment of cruelty. Again, if you're not sure about an item, ask. I'm happy to tell you about each item's origin.

All photography and art in my shop is my own.

The name, Archer's Bones, is an acknowledgement of how I have been altered by my art. In archaeology, the remains of a medieval archer can be identified by the anomalies of his skeleton, caused by his dedication to his profession. It was no easy task to draw back a longbow; the evidence left speaks to persistence, courage, and endurance, still visible in their bones centuries after their souls have moved on.

I'm the artist behind all these curiousities. I'd like to say they all came from my brain but - let's face it - I have no idea which part of me comes up with this stuff.

Welcome to the Archer's Bones, where we (that is, I) specialize in figuratively casting artists' (okay, just one artist's) bones all over some various canvases and such.

Or something.

Thanks for coming!
