About

When I was younger...
As far back as I can remember, I've always loved design, textiles and creating happy surroundings. When I was a little girl, my mom would work from home making custom bridal dresses and I would play with all her fabric remnants. I would draw out designs for my dolls and then would have fun creating them and bringing them to life. I thoroughly loved going with my mom to fabric stores, especially during times when she'd let me pick out something. I remember being so excited to bring home a hot pink barbie fabric which we turned into a custom duvet cover and matching pillows.

Educational Background...
I received my Bachelors of Arts in Sociology from UCLA and also studied Interior Design and Real Estate through the UCLA professional program.

Career Path Detours....
Before I became a design entrepreneur, I worked in the corporate world as a commercial real estate appraiser.

Before opening my shop....
I started a blog which helped me zone in on my design aesthetic and discover and learn a great deal about interior design and decor.

I opened my shop on....
September 22, 2011 with just 6 pillows, out of my old bedroom at my parent's house.

It's all in the family...
My mom is an expert seamstress with decades of experience and handles most of the sewing. My younger sister is also a creative entrepreneur with her own Etsy shop where she sells her original artwork and prints: https://www.etsy.com/shop/ParimaCreativeStudio

Pillow covers may be exchanged for another item, if you contact us within 7 days of delivery of shipment. Returns for refund are not accepted. Keep in mind that we are not a big box store with items that are mass produced in a factory. We individually cut and sew each pillow in our studio. When you order a custom pillow, supplies and resources are used to make it specifically for you.

You must notify us before attempting a return in order to get authorization and the proper return address. Pillow covers must be in their original unused condition (this means no pet hairs, etc.) and sent back with the original packaging. Shipping costs are non-refundable and all costs for return shipment are the responsibility of the customer. When returning a pillow cover back to us, please make sure to choose a reliable shipping carrier that offers tracking and delivery confirmation.



CANCELLATIONS

Pillow cover cancellations can be made within 24 hours from the order date without incurring a cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 25-72 hours will be subject to a 10% cancellation fee. This policy is in place because all our pillows are custom cut and made for each customer and if you cancel, we may likely have already used our supplies and resources to start work on your specific pillow(s). No cancellations can be made after 72 hours.


DAMAGED ITEMS

If an item arrives and is damaged, please contact us immediately so we can work with you to repair or replace the item. No claims can be made after 72 hours of package arrival.

It is important to keep in mind that some fabrics have certain natural characteristics and "flaws" that should not be considered as defects. Linen fabrics may have occasional barres, loops and slubs, which are due to the nature of linen fibers and the rustic surroundings of the weaving process. Printed fabrics may show insignificant misprints and random flecks. Hand-woven and hand-dyed textiles may have irregularities inherent to the techniques used in its making and the natural fibers.



REPAIRS

Repairs are offered on pillow covers that suffer from manufacture defects within 12 months of purchase, free of charge. Repairs due to customer wear or damage are charged a repair fee plus shipping (exact amount will vary depending on damage).

PAYMENT METHODS

Accepted forms of payment are credit card, electronic check, personal check, and money order.

Please note that if you pay with an electronic check, your order will not be processed until your check has cleared, which normally takes 3-7 days.

If you pay by personal check or money order, your order will not be processed until we receive it in the mail. Personal checks must clear before we can ship your order.


TAXES

We collect California sales tax on all orders shipped to addresses in California. Residents in other states are responsible for complying with local state tax laws.

US SHIPPING

U.S. orders are shipped via USPS Priority or First Class mail. You will receive an email with the USPS tracking information as soon as your order is on it's way to you.


INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

International orders are shipped via USPS international mail. You will receive email notification as soon as your order has been shipped and is on its way to you.

Delivery time of international shipments will vary by country of destination. Please note that most of the transit time is due to items being held in the receiving country's customs and we cannot be held responsible for the amount of time that a package is held.

Customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

Please be sure to double check your address when submitting your order as we are not able to detect whether it is written correctly or not. If package is sent back to us because the address was incomplete or you refused the package, it will be treated as a return. This means a 15% restocking fee will apply and shipping costs will not be refunded. You may contact us with any questions or concerns.

For a luxurious and full looking pillow, choose a cover that's 1 to 4 inches smaller than the insert that you'll be using. Usually the larger the insert, the greater the difference between the cover and insert that's required for a full look. + Can I customize this pillow?

> All our covers are made-to-order, and some can be customized further. Send us an email letting us know what you have in mind (i.e. a unique size, contrast piping in a specific color, a self-welt edge, or a different fabric on the back, etc.) and we'll give you a quote. Once you're ready to order, we'll create a custom listing for you.


+ When will I receive my order?

> All our pillow covers are individually made-to-order and in most cases, unless otherwise noted or you have paid for Rush Service, our lead time is 1-3 weeks. Some pillow covers are special order with longer lead times, which are noted in each product page. Once we have made your pillow(s) and have shipped your order, you will receive an email with the tracking information. Delivery to a U.S. address takes approximately 2-5 business days. Delivery to an international address will vary by country of destination.

I do my best to respond to conversations as quickly as possible, however, in an effort to maintain a good work-life balance I try not to work on the weekends and therefore usually answer any conversations received between Friday evening and Sunday night, on Monday.
