I love this really cool pendant with moving gear. Great quality, made of very sturdy metal. Delivery took considerably longer than estimated but I think that was due to the post office and not to the store. I wish that there had been photos of the various color choices -- I guessed right but would have been nice to see the combinations on screen.

Armét Canada, Affordable Goods From Master Craftspeople

Armét Canada is where you can find accessible products from creatives who usually spend their time building large-scale public art, handmade cat armour, extravagant industrial lamps, and other masterpieces we all wish we could have. For now, we have our first commercial concept which you can see and purchase here. In the future, we will be adding other concepts dreamed up by members of LEXM, or the League of Extraordinary Makers. These are creators whose work usually sell for thousands, but through derivatives has been made much more accessible here.

Armét was founded by Jeff de Boer: known internationally for producing some of the most unique and finely crafted sculpture in the world. This ranges from the very small, such as suits of armour for cats and mice, to the very large, such as public sculptures.

Jeff and the other members of LEXM have all noticed one thing: as the value of their work has risen, fewer and fewer people can afford it, but we can never have enough art in the world. Armét is the storefront for commercial, derivative products created by LEXM members. Providing a way for the masses to afford artwork that is otherwise restricted to the few.

Edward Jaworenko

Designer, Marketer, Customer Service

Edward is a multidisciplinary technical designer who wears many hats. From maintaining Armét's online presence to preparing files for manufacture. Currently he is developing the new Armét website and developing apps for use in our business.
Kat MacLean

Designer

Kat Maclean is a professional goldsmith whose designs within Armét draw a lot of inspiration from Surrealism and the shape language used in Gothic art.
Dave Sangra

Owner, Manufacturing Partner

Dave Sangra is the pragmatic voice we need when we're considering producing new parts that we've never had before. He makes things happen, and without him we wouldn't have what we need to create our jewellery.
Andrew Holloway

Designer

Andrew has been a part of the Armet team since 2018. Many of our newer, more geometric plate designs were made by him as he infuses his Stoney Nakoda heritage into his work.

I contract Dave Sangra and his company Cimtech manufacturing out of Calgary to manufacture gears, Gearings, spacers, and other parts which require absolute precision.
