Debora went above and beyond to accommodate me and personalize these St. Agnes pendants for First Holy Communion teachers' gifts. We went back and forth many times, and she aimed to please.

Love, love, love this bottle!!! I really don't know where to start.... not only is this bottle unique, beautiful, amazing and beyond anything I could have imagined, Debora--who created it--is the kindest, most talented, sweetest and loveliest woman ever! I am so glad I found her shop. She custom made and designed this altered bottle for me using a vintage image of a mermaid. The purple glass bottle she used is fabulous. Deborah used the most stunning tall crystal as the top for the bottle, complete with fabulous crystals wrapped around the neck of it. I am in awe, truly. I can't say enough good things about this shop and this seller. Thank you so much, Debora, for this beautiful and one of a kind work of art created with so much love and expertise....THANK YOU! 💜💜💜

Give Me Something Old, I'll Make it New

I started my shop when I began receiving encouraging comments from fellow artists. I started creating and selling Artist Trading Cards and other paper items. Then I dabbled in creating jewelry. For a couple of years, I went through some emotional times in my life and my art suffered. I couldn't create a thing. So, I closed the shop here on etsy and spent those couple of years in kind of a creative "funk". It upset me because creating had always been such a part of me. One day a friend started encouraging me. First with words, then with little trinkets here and there that she thought would inspire me. She told me, "God smiles when you use the talents He gives you." So all of her encouragement and little gifts put my creativity back in motion. I started making altered art bottles and altered rosaries and I spent hours and hours in my studio until I had what I thought was enough inventory to re-open the shop. I adore religious themes and anything related to the sea. Sometimes when I look at a seashell, I wonder how many miles that shell traveled until it found its place on the beach. Each one is a piece of art. And when I'm working on a religious bottle, my mind goes blank and I lose track of time. For me, making a sale is important not because I'm trying to make this my full-time job. It's because I love the creative process, from conception to completion, and if I didn't sell a piece here and there, my house would be over-run and you would see me on one of those hoarding shows on television! I love to create and I love it when someone else sees what I see in the finished piece; when they feel emotion from the emotion I have poured into it. I truly believe art is emotion.

I live outside of Nashville, TN and love a lot of forms of art. From collage to soldering to photography. Soldering is definitely my favorite. I love to mix old and new. I enjoy upcycling forgotten or broken items to give them new life.
