I offer original Halloween, dark gothic, Victorian fantasy, colorful nature and psychedelic acrylic paintings here at Etsy, as well as photo prints.
My Web site, http://www.artbysarada.com, includes a gallery of some art I've done in the past, but I also have sold on ebay for many years. I also have a blog at http://artbysarada.blogspot.com.
Here at Etsy I hope to offer original art and other creations that all keep with my gothic/hippie/witchy/Victorian/Halloween aesthetic!
Please note that international shipping has been turned off due to frequent changes in USPS prices for overseas shipping and variations due to item weight, and extremely high prices for all overseas mail. Any item weighing more than 1 ounce will cost at least $13.50 to ship. If you are still interested let me know and I will find some options.

5 out of 5 starsHow shall I compare the joy of Sarada's art to a summer's day? Not at all, for it's more fitted to a rainy one Realistic mushrooms doth shake the art of my enclave And it arrived at a sooner-than-expected date! Thoroughly pleased & loving your realistic mushroom painting! I'm honored to own an original. 🖤🍄🖤🍄🖤🍄🖤

About ArtBySarada
-
I don't have a studio, but I find inspiration in nature.
-
My main influence is the beauty of the natural world in all of its light and darkness.
-
My two worlds are dark, haunted horror and psychedelic color.
-
I spend a lot of time in the woods reading old books of supernatural horror and gothic intrigue...
-
...or just hanging around being gothy.
A dream of darkness and color
I began painting colorful fantasy and surreal images in 1986 and gradually my love of gothic literature and art, horror and Halloween blended with my love of color and hallucinatory images. In 1999 I began selling online, through online auctions and a personal website and since then I've illustrated several children's books, done some album art and found a wonderful art community on Etsy.
A New Jersey native, I am currently in Houston, Texas, where I continue to seek inspiration in nature, literature and dreams.
Victorian ghost stories, 19th century supernatural and decadent literature, as well as horror films of the 1960s and 1970s provide a lot of inspiration along with my deep love of nature and scientific mystery.
When I'm not painting or reading, I also have been a member of PA-based folk band Stone Breath since 1999, and do experimental and folk music on my own as well as knitting, crocheting and sewing/dressmaking.

Due to the extraordinary increase in cost for shipping internationally from the US I do not currently offer international shipping without prior arrangement. I am asking prospective buyers to please contact me in advance with your location and I can get a shipping rate for you. Costs change frequently and vary widely based on small size and weight differences so I cannot prepare these estimates in advance but am happy to do so on a case by case basis. However, since ALL international packages have to be mailed in-person during USPS business hours, and I work during the week, it may take 1 week or longer for me to be able to schedule a time to ship an item internationally, so rush service is not available.
I often use USPS priority mail boxes and envelopes for items being shipped priority mail but sometimes I recycle and re-use other shipping materials when they are available. For first class mail I ship using bubble mailers or a combination of sturdy envelopes and cardboard backing, depending on the item. I address things by hand and ship from the post office self-service kiosk.
Delivery confirmation is always included.
I fill out customs forms with accurate information, it is illegal to lie on customs forms so please don't ask me to! :)
