This delicate, charming frame is exactly what I was looking for. It is beautifully made and came in amazingly fast time. Thank you so very much.

This was my first transaction through Etsy and the seller was very polite and easy to communicate with. She's very personable. My item arrived in a timely manor and I am more than happy with it! I will definitely be purchasing from her store again :)

It wasn't what I was expecting at all. I expected a lot more for the price but the effort is appreciated.
I love memories and making people smile.
My products are unique. They are different. They start conversations. My goal is for you to feel that you've purchased something you can be extremely proud of. You can be sure that you have purchased a one-of-a-kind treasure that no one else has.
Family, memories and art have always been a part of my life. Growing up, family photos and my mother's crafts and paintings were in every room of our home. It seems only natural for me to combine that into what I love to do. I've always felt compelled to be different and unique. That carries over into my surroundings. I don't want what everyone else has. I want something that, when a person sees it, they say "Wow, that's really unique!" I made a custom picture frame for a friend as a house-warming present a few years ago and she loved it. And that's exactly what she said. And then she said, "You should do this for a living. Have you ever heard of Etsy?" And, so my shop was born.
I work out of the spare bedroom in my home. I have a tiny space and am able to work on only three or four projects at a time. But, since it's just me, it works fine for now. I hope to, one day, have a small studio so I can make more products and have a wider variety to sell. I do the creating, marketing, photography, shipping, and customer service. I work long hours and love every minute of it.
My main passion is transforming vintage picture frames to give them new soul. I've found that the older frames have more character and are usually of better quality. You know that old saying, "they don't make things like they used to"? That's especially true in the case of picture frames.
My process of creating the transformations can be time consuming. Very seldom do I spray a color on an item. I find that hand painting will result in a better finished product and I can be more detailed in color placement. I have more control over my designs. I use the best paints and glues I can find. Since it's very important for embellishments and the materials I use to stay on my designs, I will use industrial strength, permanent glue or epoxy, depending on the weight of the materials.
I love the challenge of discovering new materials to apply and a lot of my inspiration comes from nature. When I'm asked to make a custom item, I love the inspirations that my customers give me also. Whether they share their story for wanting the items or send me the picture that they want framed.
I like to post "works in progress" on my facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/ArtOnceAgain.
You will see some amazing transformations in progress.
When you buy from me, you're buying more than just an item. You're buying many hours of experimentation, failures, frustrations. But you're also buying a piece of my heart, part of my soul and giving me more time to do something I'm truly passionate about - something that makes all of the above worth it. You're buying me many hours of absolute joy!
I truly appreciate that you've taken the time to get to know a little about me and my small business. I hope that I can make something for you soon.
Owner, Maker, Designer, Curator
I have a passion for art, design and making people happy with their memories. I have a degree in clothing and textiles with a minor in art. I am married to a man who loves unique design and color as much as I do.
All my items are upcycled into a unique, one-of-kind treasure. Most of them originate from the Veterans Thrift Store (my way of helping the vets) and I work some magic on them to turn them into the classic designs you find in my shop.
I love to do custom orders! If you see something you like but want it slightly different, or you have something in mind that you want made, let me know. Together, we'll make it happen.
