It's July and I've chosen to highlight one of my favorite designer's, Stephen Sprouse. I was living in NYC in the 80's when I first discovered his fashion brand. Back then he was getting attention from those who lived uptown and downtown in New York, which was very rare. His clothing wasn't as widely distributed as some of the other bigger designers. So it's no surprise I favored his clothing, it really was wearable art.
My collection of scarves are a nod to his 80's neon color palette and punk art aesthetic. It's the perfect pop of color any season. The mediums sized scarves can be folded as tops or worn as headwear and neckwear. Small scarves for wrist or purses....or a pocket square. Larger scarves can be used as clothing like sarongs or a halter dress. I continue to up cycle clothing, this month I’m re-fashioning them into a punk art /graffiti style vibe! So shop your closet if you're interested in something similar.
In addition, I will also offer to up cycle vintage wedding gowns into kimono jackets for my customers who are looking for a sentimental piece of wearable art. The fabric can be hand dyed in your favorite color and combined with one of my original, custom fabrics. Or a fabric can be designed related to the bride.

5 out of 5 starsOverall this is an amazing quality product it is beautiful!!! The only thing I would say is don't underestimate how bit it is think about how big you think it might be for you or whoever you are getting it for, but then think of it being about a size or two bigger. It's a huge mask but my dad loves it but will have to make some minor adjustments, he loved the art, the art is really really beautiful! Thank you so much!
