Announcement
I live in Indianapolis and in 2021 I attended 'Indy Fringe' to see the ESPN Janet Guthrie documentary "Qualified". A friend had given me two tickets to go and I really had no expectations. However, I left completely impressed by race car driver Guthrie's tenacity and commitment to motorsports. There was an Indy 500 car on sight and Beth Paretta and her all female team were there too. They were racing in the Indy 500 that May. They were all part of the "Q and A" after the movie.
Anyone that knows me, knows that I love strong women in history who forge their own frontier in what they are passionate about. Janet Guthrie had formerly been an aerospace engineer and when she was 16, her pilot father took her out to fly an airplane. But she really became interested in racing cars after she purchased her own jaguar. In 1977 she qualified in both the Indy 500 and Daytona 500.
This new collection is dedicated to Janet Guthrie and all female race car drivers, pushing the limits. The design style evokes a very 70's vibe in big bold patterns that mix iconic race car shapes with a feminine touch. I hope you like it!
All items in this collection will be printed on a very limited run of 6 or less items per design. Everything will need to be pre-ordered with a deadline of April 1st, so you can receive your piece of wearable art in time for 'Fashion Fridays' in May, as well as other events leading up to the big race day and of course race day itself! Once it is sold through, it will not be available anymore. These are all custom, original prints that I've created as an independent Indiana fashion designer.

5 out of 5 starsOverall this is an amazing quality product it is beautiful!!! The only thing I would say is don't underestimate how bit it is think about how big you think it might be for you or whoever you are getting it for, but then think of it being about a size or two bigger. It's a huge mask but my dad loves it but will have to make some minor adjustments, he loved the art, the art is really really beautiful! Thank you so much!
