ABOUT ME & MY ART

I like to go my own way in life, whether it’s at home or travelling the world. I like to meet new people, cultures, animals, who I then portray on canvas. I am especially fascinated by cows and their huge dark eyes… I try to travel as much as possible, preferrably over longer periods of time (no holidays, but exploration trips...) and find my inspiration there. Catching people's life stories on canvas, or showing a different side of animals - their personality, intelligence and beauty is what makes my day. Oh, and if I fancy something more spicy, I never shy away from a good nude painting opportunity.... I try to see bright colours and bubbles in the world and people around me.

ABOUT AHIMSA SILK SCARVES

It is hard to find a unique scarf, which is not massproduced and sold across chains of stores throughout the world. At the same time, it is hard to find honest and genuinely hand made accessories in today’s influx of printed, computer designed and copied items.

So I decided to make my own :).

I paint all my life – I’ve been studying art since kindergarden and never stopped painting. It used to be mainly painting on canvas – acrylic and aquarelle.

I wanted to paint, but also create wearable and practical products. Make my art available to more people. Paintings make amazing gifts, but you can’t take them with you when going out. I wanted my customers to be proud of their art even during their wanders throughout the world. I started to look for ways how to achieve this and one of the first ideas was silk scarves – such an majestic yet delicate material, and people can take my paintings on it anywhere with them.
After researching the types of silk and their production, I decided to use AHIMSA SILK – whose production doesn’t harm the moth that produces the silk.

That's how ARTbubbleSilk and my hand painted AHIMSA silk scarves were born :)
