Working on a custom necklace for a celebrity fundraiser in LA
After 5 years of searching I found the perfect paint that can survive the hot Arizona sun and doesn't fade. Yippee!
Using new paint and placing in the direct Arizona sun to see if paint will fade. Will post after my experiment.

About

Creating Colorful Art Flowers from Recycled Plastic Bottles

I collect plastic bottles, all sizes, shapes and colors. This is my blessing and my curse. My friends save them for me and leave them on my doorstep. I will pull over on the curb to pick them up. I will stare at you until you finish your soda and then awkwardly ask for your empty bottle. During the Seattle Walk for a Cure each participate was given a cold, water bottle that was PINK!!! I was in heaven and hell! I only had a tiny back pack and stuffed as many empty bottles that I could fit inside. Later, during an airplane flight I wanted to grab each mini vodka, gin, and rum bottle and stuff it in my purse. Three golf courses have a special bin for the used bottles and save them for me. Are you finished drinking your diet coke? Can I have your empty bottle? pretty please???

I work alone and occasionally my sweet kitty sits next to me swiping a stray bead or wire. As a passionate animal lover and rescuer of homeless animals I donate a portion of my sales to Foothills Animal Rescue (FAR), a cage-free, no kill non-profit (501(c)3) organization that saves lives by rescue, care and adoption of homeless cats and dogs. (I volunteer there several times a week). I have two other Etsy shops under http://www.glitterpooh.etsy.com and http://www.queensblush.etsy.com . Shipping
Every order is shipped through the USPS with First Class, Parcel Select (ground) with Tracking Information) or Priority Mail, whichever is the most economical. If the value is over $100.00 your signature may be required at delivery.

Most of my items are made to order. If you need your order quickly please send me a convo BEFORE buying.

Please make absolute sure you have the correct address listed. I am not responsible for packages mailed to an incorrect address.

International buyers - Prices are estimated and may be less than I anticipated. If the difference is more than 10% I will refund the difference. Import duties, taxes and other fees are not included in my item or shipping prices. These charges are usually collected when you either pick up your package or when it's delivered to you. They are not additional shipping charges and are completely your responsibility.

II will contact you as soon as I take the item to ship so you will have a good idea when it will arrive.

I do not re-send items until it is very clear that they have been lost in the mail. For domestic orders, this means I will not resend items until at least 3 weeks after the item's original ship date. For most international orders, I will not resend orders for at least 6 weeks after the original ship date. I'm so glad you are excited to receive your order, but please be patient. It takes time for an item to travel across the country or across this huge planet!
Refunds and Exchanges
Recycled bottles come with a few scratches, dimples and air bubbles all adding to the charm of re-purposing an item that has been used for another purpose. During the heating process plastic shrinks and cannot be controlled so each piece is unique and cannot be replicated - similar yet slightly different. Hand painted flower colors may vary from the photo as each one is made to order and cannot be exactly duplicated.

My goal is 100% customer service and satisfaction. I will accept refunds or exchanges only within 7 days of receipt of order. The customer is responsible for all return or exchange shipping charges, unless an obvious error was made on my part.

I am always happy to do custom orders. Additional charges may apply if I need to source specific materials. Please keep in mind, there are no refunds or exchanges on custom orders.
Additional policies and FAQs
Please hand wash with damp rag, do not use solvents as they may remove the paint. Hand painted items will fade in the bright sun, please use care to keep out of direct sunlight. Avoid using hairsprays, perfumes, etc. around hand painted items if possible.

If purchasing a magnet I will include two magnets with your order. One will be attached to the flower and the extra magnet can be placed inside a garment, a scarf or a lampshade (or other items). The flower is placed on the opposite side. To remove top magnet, SLIDE the top magnet off the bottom magnet - DO NOT PULL IT OFF or the flower could be damaged.
