Ethically made, One-of-a-kind Accessories

Xula Handmade sells ethically made & fair trade one-of-a-kind textile accessories, ranging from purse charms, pom poms and tassels, to boho coin purses, tote bags and tassel earrings. I personally design these pieces and collaborate with indigenous artisan women from Chiapas, Mexico to bring these pieces to life, with the help of their skills that have been passed down throughout many generations. By partnering up with this small group of indigenous women artisans, each purchase empowers them to create a self-sustaining form of living through fair trade, while striving to maintain their culture and traditions alive.

Xula (pronounced Shula) comes from the Mexican word 'Chula", which means 'beautiful'. Each piece is unique and 'chula', all of them made with love by each artisan woman.

Collaborating with these special group of women is very dear to my heart since I'm also Mexican and their culture is also part of my roots and origin. My mission is to help maintain their traditions and culture alive with an end goal to create social impact in their small communities. Say yes to shopping in a sustainable and ethical way. ♥

Once I place my order, how long will it take to ship?

Normally items ship within 1-3 business days. During the holiday season, we try for items to ship within 1-2 business days.

Are these pieces mass produced?

Absolutely not! Each and every item is unique and completely handmade by indigenous women artisans in Mexico. You're guaranteed a one-of-a-kind piece that you won't find anywhere else. All of these pieces are made with love and have a story behind them; that's what makes them so special! Your purchase helps empower each artisan that I work with ♥

Wholesale availability

You can message us directly if you'd like to buy at wholesale. Minimum number of pieces for wholesale is 24 pieces.

Care instructions

For our handwoven items, we recommend hand washing them.

Custom and personalized orders

We collaborate with our artisans to customize tassels and pom poms but the minimum order is 24 pieces and the turnaround time is about 3 weeks.
