That's a lot of dots!!

Greetings, and Welcome to my Etsy Shop. I am primarily a Pen & Ink artist, and as the Story Headline suggests, I work a lot in the stippling, or pointillism technique. However, I also work in Graphite and Scratchboard, and have been adding some color to the drawings with colored pencils and inks, etc. I have been marketing my artwork in one form or another for over 30 years. Even casual observers will notice a decidedly Southwestern flair or flavor to my renderings. This affinity for the West stems from nearly 20 years living in the Colorado Springs area. While visiting Cripple Creek, Colorado, I was particularly drawn to the artwork of Carole Bourdo, whose wildlife and Native American renderings captured all the beauty and detail of the subject, while sacrificing none of the dignity or character. As a self-taught artist, this was exactly what I was striving for in my own renderings, and after meeting Carole, I was encouraged to pursue my goal of selling my artwork. I developed my Faces West folio of Western and Native American portraits, among which is the “Young Warriors” series of limited-edition prints.

My wildlife and western portraits have been exhibited in various galleries in Colorado, among them Emily Ingram Gallery in Steamboat Springs, Greer Gallery in Colorado Springs, and the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. In Florida, I have exhibited at Adams Art Gallery and D. Rhodes Gallery, both in Ft. Pierce and Huston’s Office Plus in Stuart, as well as Two Feathers Gallery, located in Melbourne.

While living in Florida, I started my Signature Hole Rendering program with various golf courses in and around Stuart, Melbourne, and Jacksonville. Now living near Salem, Oregon, I have added renderings of some of the beautiful golf courses of Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. Once completed, these renderings provide Pro Shop managers with a variety of options: prints and note card packages to sell through the shop, as well as tournament prizes and favors for various events.

As a resident of Oregon for the past 14 plus years, another theme running throughout my artwork deals with images of the Pacific Northwest. Lighthouses, Covered Bridges, and Wineries are just some of the subjects I’ve added to the portfolio. I have also done a series of renderings of the historical buildings located at the Mission Mill Museum of Salem, Oregon. To view these renderings, please visit the Homes pages of my website.

Please contact me directly to inquire about commission work, or to purchase original artwork.

All prints will come with a double mat, ready for framing in an 11 x 14 frame. I generally use fairly neutral mats for the outer mat, with a black interior mat, and will sometimes use black core mats. Since my work is black & white, I try to use mats that will compliment the artwork, yet leave the buyer some flexibility when selecting a frame.

All note card packages contain 10 cards/envelopes per package. As I get more artwork uploaded, assortments will be available, ie. Horses, Lighthouses, Faces West, Wildlife, etc. You can always check out the assortments by going to my website at, and contact me if you have any questions or requests.

Items will ship via first class international mail, which takes roughly 6-14 days. You may also upgrade to priority mail international or express mail international if you'd like--just ask and I'll figure out the charge. Also, you are responsible for any duty your country may charge you.
