Announcement    Welcome to my shop! In-person Markets are scarcer than hens teeth (ha!) right now, so all my love is going into this venue.
Lots of new work to see here all the time! Most weeks I weave at least a couple of new rugs... always some new colors and sizes. This season I’m starting to work with a combination of bamboo yarn and bits of silk ribbon. These
pieces take more time, so keep an eye out for new ones to
appear. You may also notice some truly amazing alpaca yarn for sale here. I’m importing it from an amazing fair-trade producer in Peru. I love hearing from you... don’t be shy if you have a question about work you see here.

I love to weave....

NOTE: I can only ship on Mondays. All orders received Monday through Sunday will be shipped the following Monday.

On most days, this is what I do: I make things. I design a new rug or scarf. I set up my loom to begin weaving a new piece. I spend the morning weaving fabric for a vest, while listening to a book on CD (a mystery? some history?). Sometimes I leave the loom to work with metal. Earrings require a different kind of attention. Different tools. But in the end, it's about creating work that becomes a meaningful memory for someone I probably don't even know yet.

I learned to weave on one of those square red metal looms, turning out potholders the summer of my 8th year. Then I really learned to weave while attending Northern Illinois University (Bachelor of Arts degree), and a few years later I REALLY learned to weave at the Webschule Sindelfingen (a weaving trade school in Germany). All the while, I've been weaving, and teaching weaving, and exploring the world of possibilities that…
