I love the extender the only change I might make is maybe displaying the chain in a picture next to a household item. (dime, penny, etc.) It is pictured next to a ruler but the links in the chain turned out to be much smaller than I expected. It works in the intended application, no problem, and I recognize that this "problem" is mine, not the sellers. Just a thought.

About

Our adornments tell our stories at a glance. What's yours?

Artifacts tell the stories of long lost civilizations and individuals. Without a single word, these items give us the information we need to imagine what vanished cultures accomplished, what they valued, what they discarded, and, especially, what they found beautiful.

I believe that the objects adorning our bodies and our homes serve as personal artifacts, silently communicating ideas about who we are that words can neither express nor deny. Since these items speak *for* us, I think it is also important that they speak *to* us… that their energy, aesthetic, and origins both reflect and enhance our personal stories. As a result, I find the idea of wearing and displaying pieces that have been made in limited quantities by the hands of a knowable and accessible person particularly appealing.

Jewelry: My designs are based on a natural inclination to coax the individual beauty and personality out of each stone. Rather than trying to follow (or buck) fashion trends, I rely on my intuition and a carefully curated selection of materials to create accessories that will speak to (and for) a particular person. My goal is for each piece to be both boldly expressive and easy to wear. Because I hope that my creations will be worn often, I design most of them to be comfortable and durable enough for daily use.

Paintings: I have always preferred to paint natural landscapes and “portraits” of wild flora and fauna. For reference material, I use both personal photographs (which I obsessively capture) and my imagination. Lately, I particularly enjoy creating “miniature” paintings (5x7 inches or smaller) because they make original artwork accessible to almost anyone, regardless of budget or space constraints. They are perfect for personalizing a cubical or other small workspace and will certainly help coworkers understand a bit more of your story.

More than a business, Artifacts et Cetera is an outlet for my creative energy… one that provides access to individuals from around the world who see something of themselves in my offerings. It allows me to connect with nature, with my inner self, and with other people who feel drawn to the things I have made.

In addition to painting and jewelry making, I also enjoy: running, tending my houseplants and aquariums, cooking, photography, camping, reading, exploring antique stores, hiking, and spending time with my husband.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
  • Money Order
Payment
I accept Paypal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Etsy gift cards, and money orders.
Shipping
Domestic Customers (USA): I ship via USPS First Class and domestic customers typically receive their package within 3-5 days of mailing. The shipping fee includes tracking for all domestic orders.

International Customers: Shipping times vary country by country and are difficult to estimate. Two weeks seems to be a safe guess, but it may be as quick as a few days or as long as a month or more, depending on your nation's postal service and customs office. Delivery confirmation is rarely available for international orders at a reasonable cost, so I am unable to include that. Customers are responsible for covering any tariffs or other fees (if any) collected by the country I am mailing to.

Orders are mailed within 2 days of payment (often sooner). If you are in a rush, just let me know!

Packaging:
My jewelry ships nicely packaged for gift-giving in a kraft paper box tied up with a bow and nestled in a bubble mailer for added protection. Larger pieces are typically boxed for mailing.

GIFT PURCHASES: If your item is a gift going directly to the recipient, I would be happy to include a little note or message to let them know who it's from! Just tell me what you'd like it to say in the "message to seller" box when you place your order.
Refunds and Exchanges
I truly want you to be happy with your purchase and I will do my best to correct any problems that may occur. Please Convo me if you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason.

I will return or exchange items within 2 weeks of receipt.
Additional policies and FAQs
I am always open to creating custom orders, so if you like my style but don't see the length, color, quantity, or other details that you are looking for, feel free to contact me and I would be happy to work with you!

Also, I am interested in taking on some wholesale accounts, so retailers are welcome to contact me for details.
