Digital Inket Prints of Original Artworks

I am Scott Von Holzen and I am the artist that paints music. This art style takes the flow of a song and turns it into a portrait that is a visual and emotional representation of music.

Music first came into my life when I took up accordion lessons when I was seven years old, In high school and early college, I was in a rock ‘n’ roll garage band with school friends. When my musical career ended, I turned my interest to portrait painting. This lasted until I ran out of people to paint and felt I needed a change. I turned to photography, updating equipment as my skills improved, and spending an enormous amount of time in the darkroom developing and printing images, for example, waterfalls, besides a small amount of commercial work. It wasn't until years later that I again returned to painting. I enjoyed it but became bored with portraits, almost ending my art career once again.

And then it happened. A late-night phone call for my wife startled me awake. It was at that moment I awoke that I knew my artistic direction. I had no idea how to do it, but knew I was going to paint music. That is what I have been doing since 2006. My musical productions show how much this Art has involved and continues to change to this day. As a tribute to the many evolution's of musical styles over the centuries, each of these prints tells a story about the music this art represents, presented to you by ArtInMusic.

I am Scott Von Holzen and I paint music.
These prints are digital inkjet images of my original artworks. The Mini-artworks from the Beethoven 5th Symphony Series are handmade wooden creations by the artist, signed, numbered and dated.

After completing a painting, I photograph the artwork I then create a digital image of the painting with the help of Photoshop. Printed on Epson Exhibition matte canvas using my Epson inject printer, I then sign, number and date each print. Every listing is a selected size and custom sizes are welcome. Most size changes are available at no extra cost.
