If I could give these ten stars, I would! These little soaps are AWESOME and perfect for the bachelorette party. So lovely that you can pick color and scent. Katye went the extra mile to make sure these were shipped to me on time--very professional, super sweet, and I'm so happy with the soap!

How I crashed into soap making...literally.

Before I created Artisan Soapery, I was an at-home cake decorator and stay-at-home mom where I earned a little extra money to support my skydiving habit. I am a B-licensed skydiver and go as often as I can. I loved cake decorating, and was becoming very successful at it!

However, in September 2011, I was in a terrible motorcycle accident that caused 18 fractures to my entire body. I was in the hospital for 10 weeks, and in a wheelchair for 5 months after that. With a lot of surgery and hard work, I can now walk, but still deal with the daily pain. Due to my extensive injuries, I wasn't able to make cake decorating a profitable business since my fractures slowed me down quite a bit. Suddenly, it wasn't as fun as it used to be.

A few weeks after I got home from the hospital, I was doing some online Christmas shopping (and going a little stir-crazy, if I'm being honest), and found a link to a natural soap site. I saw a soap bar advertised in one of my most favorite scents [Lavender Vanilla] and thought I would give it a try since I had never tried natural soaps before.

I became obsessed! Natural soap was so much better than any store bought soap or body wash I had ever used before and I wanted to know why. I wondered why everyone else hadn't known more about natural soaps, and why they weren't more popular. I started researching ways to make it, ways to make it better, the chemistry of it all, and questioning whether it would be safe for me to make, given my situation. I bought a starter kit and gave it a go! Although it wasn't easy (and still isn't half the time), it intensified my passion for soap making and I couldn't wait to make more. I spent my time reading, researching, experimenting, and using my friends and family as guinea pigs for my soaps and even other products I decided to venture into. Everyone thought they were wonderful and worth sharing with the world. And that's exactly what I am doing!

Payment
Payments are expected to be paid in full within 5 days of order. Any orders not paid for will be cancelled.

If you would like to add, change, or cancel your order, please email me immediately. If I have not already shipped your order out, I will issue a full refund and make your requested changes.

If your order has already been shipped, we can place a new order for your additional items you'd like to add, or you can refuse the shipment (do not open it, or you will be charged by USPS for return shipping), and I will issue you a full refund upon return of the order, minus shipping.

Payment methods are PayPal, Credit/Debit Cards, Money Order, and Cash (if you're local and picking up your order).
Shipping
I ship all of my orders via USPS in Flat Rate Priority boxes ONLY.

The will have a tracking number and delivery confirmation so we both can keep track of your order and delivery.

All of my orders are insured.

To help prevent scams, orders over $30 will have a signature required on them for $5.20, which is included in shipping costs. If you do not want the signature required, please send me a private message and I will deduct the $5.20 from your order at your own risk. Which means that if the tracking number and delivery confirmation says your order was delivered to the correct address, you hold full responsibility if your order is stolen and are responsible for filing an insurance claim through USPS.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you have any sort of allergy to any of the products, I will promptly issue you a full refund of the product upon return of the item! Customer pays return shipping. If you would like to try a different product in place of the one you had a reaction to, we can do that also!

I have all of my orders insured, so if your order was not received and the tracking number says it was delivered, it is the customers responsibility to file a claim with USPS and claim the insurance on it. I will not send out a replacement order for free when the tracking number shows it was delivered to the correct address. The reason I have insurance is so that both the customer and I can be fully covered in the event of an order mishap. If you'd like to place a new order so that your product arrives in time for a special occasion while you wait for the reimbursement money from USPS, you're welcome to do so!
