Amazing! This shop worked with us to make sure my fiancé's wedding band was exactly the way he wanted, even finding a custom stamp for our wedding date for the inside of the ring and worked with us every step of the way. So happy with this purchase!

Can't say enough good things about this seller. Communication was prompt and friendly; accommodation to my unlisted ring size was no problem; lead time and shipping was super fast; and the ring fits and looks perfect. An all-around five star transaction.

About

Making the world a beautiful place, one jewelry piece at a time.

I have always been intrigued by art and began creating art at a very young age. I have taken many art classes throughout my life, but none of my professional degrees are in art. I guess one would say I have a good foundation from my art courses, but I am self-taught in many areas. When my children were little I wanted to find a way to provide a living through my art. Artistic Intentions was born about 2 decades ago as a “business” name to encompass all of my artistic endeavors. At the time I was painting wall murals and small wooden tables and trinkets. I also tried my hand at candle making, paper making, and glass etching. None of these things were lucrative enough to earn a living, so they remained hobbies. In 2004 I discovered glass lampworking and began making glass beads and jewelry. This is when things started to make sense to me as an artist. The Artistic Intentions name still fit, so I kept it. When I wanted to do more with my jewelry I began creating designs in sterling silver and copper, with stone settings and colorful enamels. I started my web site on Etsy in April of 2009 where I still market and sell my original Artisan jewelry. I have found my niche with Artisan jewelry.

Sterling silver is the predominant material in my jewelry designs, but I also use semi precious gem stones and rocks, copper, enamels, glass, leather, and feathers. I do not like to limit myself to one medium in my jewelry making. I enjoy experimenting with color and texture and different mediums. My art is constantly evolving. I have recently fallen in love with lapidary and had an amazing opportunity to purchase lapidary equipment. Now I am able to cut and shape my own stone cabochons to use in my jewelry, adding another dimension to my creations. I have a second shop on Etsy for my lapidary designer cabochons. I create my jewelry and cabochons in my Southern Illinois studio, usually with my two dogs and my husband hanging around. I love taking a concept from my imagination and forging it into a beautiful piece of wearable art. My goal is to continually grow my art business so that I can someday fulfill that dream of making my art my living.

    Owner, Maker, Designer

I love the satisfaction of transforming something from my imagination into a beautiful, unique piece of wearable art, and having a customer appreciate what I have created.

  • Karley D. Moore

    Product Model

Karley is one of my beautiful daughters. She is gracious enough to model my jewelry and help with the photography for the shop. She is an amazing young woman who has a bright future ahead of her - and she really makes my jewelry look awesome!

  • Alyssa C. Moore

    Product Model

Alyssa is one of my beautiful daughters. She adds an edgy, rocker chick vibe to the photos and is a great jewelry model. She is a very talented singer and musician and has a lot to show the world. I just hope she is wearing my jewelry when she does!

  • Mike Tackitt

    "Supervisor"

My husband says he is the studio "supervisor". He hangs out in the studio with me while I create jewelry. We make a joke about it, but his loving support is a big part of why I have a studio. His hard work made the studio possible.

  • Bailey

    Studio Dog

Bailey is our shepherd-mix studio dog. She protects my pieces-in-the-making and hangs out with me when I am hard at work. She doesn't much care for the hammered pieces because that gets a little noisy!

  • Fiona

    Studio Mascot

Fiona is my Frenchie pup. She has brought so much joy to my life and fun to the studio! She loves to hang out and pester the "studio dog", Bailey. And when the work and play are done, she is such a sweet cuddle puppy!

Thank you for shopping at ArtisticIntentions! I hope your shopping experience is an enjoyable one. Please feel free to contact me with and questions or suggestions you may have.

My pieces are handmade by me in my Southern Illinois studio. Currently my main focus is working with sterling silver and other metals, and natural stone. There is something very gratifying about creating one-of-a-kind, wearable art from a blank piece of metal and a piece of rock from the earth. Please browse through the shop. Enjoy!
