Absolutely beautiful! Received it within a matter of days during the busiest season of the year!
A little bit about me.
I started playing with beads after I had neck surgery and needed to wear an ID badge to work. The cloth lanyard ones were not comfortable to wear so I decided to try making one with beads. I became addicted to beads and my husband told me I needed to do something with them or quit buying them. So I started selling my lanyards.
The rest is history. I continue to learn new techniques and expand my abilities to bring my customers a wide variety of jewelry. I want my jewelry to look expensive but be affordable. I do have some more expensive pieces for those customers willing to splurge.
In 2010 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. This really changed my world. My jewelry kept me going. My customers gave me a reason to get out of bed each day. They were patient with me as well as encouraging. It has brought me a greater respect for my customers and a greater appreciation of how much a simple little bracelet can mean to a person. I continue to create my cancer awareness jewelry and donate as much as I can to the cause. I donate to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life every year. I also donate to individual fundraisers as often as I can. Please contact me for more information on donations.
I have developed a love of wire. I love creating chain mail jewelry. I also love manipulating the wire to wrap gemstones into beautiful pendants. I am expanding these lines also. Every day brings a new idea and a new challenge. The joy is in the responses from my customers when they put on that special piece of jewelry.
I never owned much jewelry due to my very acidic skin. I could only wear 14kt gold jewelry. This lead me to the art of chain maille. The wire I use is coated allowing me to be able to wear the pieces I create with it. I have also found stainless steel beads and clasps that also allow me to wear more beautiful less expensive jewelry. I love to share these with my customers who have the same problems as me. Every day I continue to learn new techniques that I bring to my customers.
Owner, Designer, Photographer
I have been making jewelry now for over 8 years. My passion is working with wire and creating chain mail jewelry. But my customers love my beaded lanyards and medical bracelets. My inspiration comes from the joy a piece brings to my customers.
