The path to where I am today

I am tapping into my artistic side for the first time in my life. I have always yearned for that expression, but took a different path. I went to college and received a bachelors degree in Biology. I then became a clinical lab scientist where I spent many years working in a hospital setting. It wasn't nourishing to my soul and I felt a longing to express myself in a more authentic way. I started to take massage classes and reiki classes. I would go on hikes and see these sticks and branches that really had a story to tell. Life in northern Arizona can be harsh and unforgiving. Yet these trees manage to continue to survive. I want to preserve the unique pieces that I find and turn them into wind chimes so that others may appreciate the beauty that they still hold.
When we moved to Sedona, I got my massage license and have recently opened my own practice in my home. I am self employed in my home and for the first time in my life I can say that I LOVE to go to work! I love the bodywork that I do, but still felt a need for artistic expression. That's when I started working with beading and moved on to the wind chimes. I love how they look, but more importantly, I love how they make me feel. Watching them in the sun and feeling the energy that they emit is magical. Then a breeze comes by and the beautiful music of the glass is heard.

    Owner, Designer, Maker

I grew up in Missouri and lived there for 33 years. My husband and I have 3 adult children and decided that it was time for a change. We moved to Sedona Arizona about 18 months ago. I went to massage school and now have my own business in my home.
