Announcement   This shop displays art pieces made in the framework of Art Relief International program. ARI offers vulnerable individuals something rare: an accepting and therapeutic atmosphere that not only fosters an appreciation for art, but provides an outlet to cope with the difficulties of their life. ARI employs all forms of art, from painting and drawing to dance and drama, as methods to encourage self-exploration and to restore the vigor of the mind, body and soul. Our volunteers work with handicaped children, burmese refugees or victims of sex-trafficking in the region of Chiang Mai, Thailand and it is their works that you can buy on our shop. It is important to us that these pieces are showcased within a global community to broaden the artists' messages and their communal needs. In essence, ARI strives to act as a vital link between artistic and social discourse, proving that art truly does have the power to transform both artist and observer. It is now up to you to help us spread the benefits of art therapy. The gallery of the volunteers displays works made by the wonderful volunteers of ARI themselves, the profit goes also to ARI. If you want to learn more about us or help in any other way here is our website : http://www.artrelief.net/
