I am not sure what it is about this floral/stripe combo that engages me so. Perhaps it is the ease felt from observing a stem's natural posture or maybe its how a simple line of a stripe can inspire. It is that very sense of ease though that suggests that life does not require me to be anything more than who I am. And to be inspired requires nothing more than my attention. Comingling at such depths is powerful. And so it is for me gazing at a flowered stem standing in a striped vase that sweetens this moment and I am grateful.
