First, I'll say the item was great. Second, the shipping was incredibly slow and late. I had to hunt down the seller through multiple channels to even get a response and watched my money sit in Paypal limbo for 30 days until they felt like shipping it. Cool item, but I doubt I'd buy from them again.

I have never received this order, so it is difficult to review it. I am still hoping that it will arrive. I wish the seller would track the item and let me know when I can expect to receive it, so send out another one.

Ascoli's story :)

We are a Quality driven young brand. We focus on the essence of Design combined with the luxury of selected leathers at it's best. As for most of us creatives our preferred design tool is passion fuelled by naivety, so the collections are often an exploration of a material; a problem; a person or even an emotion.
What supports us, is what grounds us: 106 years of family heritage, with the knowledge that before it's fall the brand survived 2 World Wars given the jewish origins and the houlocaust. This degree of resiliance is not something you come across very often, nor is something you can let go with ease;
The experience of our back ground lead us to deeply believe that the process does determine your product, how it is made is what really makes it unique. The choice of first class materials and obsessive compulsive detailing becomes simply a consequence.

This uncompromising approach is taken through to every aspect of our collections and products. Fueled by shear passion for the mastery of handcrafting a little soul in to products, Sofia and Sara rekindled Sofia's family's brand heritage: Ascoli 1908.

1908 - Ernesto Ascoli
Our story began with Ernesto Ascoli, who in 1908, beagn a family business: Ascoli luxury boutiques, selling quality leather goods in Genoa, Italy. In that year The Ascoli Brand first appeared in our very own luxury leather boutiques in Genoa, selling trunks, luggage and travel accessories ...

1934 - Renato Ascoli
As the decades went by the business expanded and Ernesto’s son, Renato, started the production of a new range of 'Ascoli' luxury leather goods.
To accommodate this new venture Renato moved from Genova to Varese, where he invested in a factory of talented local artisans.

1969 - Maurizio and Dodi Ascoli
In the 1970s his sons Claudio and Maurizio expanded the business further, producing for labels such as Gucci, Lanven and La Bottega Veneta. The scope and reputation of the Ascoli brand continued to grow, selling handmade Italian leather goods worldwide by the 1980s. In the mid 1990s the company caught the attention of a Japanese millionaire who bought the entire Ascoli business.

2011 - Sofia Ascoli and Sara Manfredini Taube
Having lain dormat for 20 Years the Ascoli brand was re-kindled in 2011 by Renato's granddoughter Sofia, later joined by Sara. Her vision began with a small production of bespoke leather goods. In 2014 Sara joins, to push the brand to new levels. Launching a new branded collection with the know-how of the artisans Sofia's Family has known for so long.
For the first time after so many years Ascoli is again presented to shops.

Orders which are not paid within 3 business days will be cancelled.
Any import duty or taxes are the buyers responsibility and are not paid by Ascoli. Please message me at info [!at], if you have any questions regarding duty and tax issues.
Your purchase will be shipped with Posta Prioritaria with Poste italiane. takes about 5 to 14 business days to deliver to destinations outside of Italy or the UK, and it won't have a tracking number, but if you require fast delivery and a tracking number please state it in the order, you will be upgraded with a fee.

Please note on peak-times like the Christmas period Poste Italiane can take its sweet time to process packages. If you need the item/s urgently (for example as a gift), please attach a note to your order and I will do my best to ship the parcel as early as possible.

Packages shipped to destinations outside Italy or UK do NOT come with a tracking number. If you would like to upgrade to Tracking, message me and I will calculate the costs and get back to you.

Refunds and Exchanges
We want you to be satisfied with all of your glass treasures!
If your purchase does not meet your expectations, you may return it within 10 calendar days of receipt. Items must be returned in original, unused condition and packaging.

Items listed as SAMPLE SALES AND COSTUM ITEMS are generally not eligible for refunds, however We offer refunds for items in the following circumstances:

1. Items that are NOT customised: We offer a refund on any NON-CUSTOM item, if you are not satisfied with your item for any reason at all, within 15 business days of purchase. The refund will be for the purchase price of the item, we cannot refund shipping fees nor the return postage.

2. For CUSTOM item: We offer refunds ONLY on defective items that is clearly our mistake or fault (incorrect incorrect quote/text/image) If you requested a customization, but it was incorrect or misspelled in the notes to seller or convos, we cannot refund the item. PLEASE double check all customization requests before completing the checkout process!

Refunds will ONLY be processed when we receive the item back in our shop. Please include a note with the package that states the etsy username on the order, as well as the recipients full name (as entered into the etsy checkout process). Please do not use sticky notes/post it notes on the leather. We cannot refund your payment until we receive the item in order to ensure the refund claim is accurate. The buyer should cover the postage to return.

POSTAL/SHIPPING ERRORS: We are not responsible for items that were lost by the postal system, but we will work with you and your local post office to do everything within our power to find lost packages, including providing tracking numbers and proof of shipment. Furthermore any damages happened during the shipping are not 'on our heads' anything else fire away.

WHOLESALE prices are applicable to all of our items, there is minimum orders that varies for each bag however it is generally 3 bags per colour. If you are a shop and you wish to know more about prices please contact Sara [!at]

Item that are listed as Sample Sales are not necessarily in perfect conditions hence the price difference (60% lower). they are listed as samples because are either:
- Samples which were used in advanced showings, fashion shows, and presentations for interested buyers.These samples were often very limited in quantities due to the purpose the items served,
- overstocked items, returned, or were never sold.
