I'm just a tax accountant who had too much time on my hands... temporarily...

At the end of 2011 I took a month of work to get a certification for my job as a tax accountant, but I quickly realized I would go crazy doing nothing but studying all day when I was used to working 12 or more hours a day. At the same time I started thinking about Christmas presents for my mom and sister and both of these trains of thought led to the same thing... making jewelry. While I had the time off work I made contacts with suppliers in China and Hong Kong and started designing and doing market research, then of course production and photography. All of that led to Sparkle! by Ashley. Now that I'm back to working 12+ hours a day at my job, I have less time to design and make my jewelry, but I still love having this outlet for my creativity and ability to work on something that I love... besides taxes...
