About

Girl stumbles upon trunk of prewar textiles, falls in love. Beauty ensues.

Our "Authentic Original" cushions are all made with antique & reclaimed materials - slubby linens, crisp métis, antique grain sacks & courrier bags sourced from brocantes, basements, estate sales and dealers throughout France, Switzerland & Germany. Patina, history. Each cushion is created by hand and because the textiles are rare, no two are the same.

Our reproductions, while perhaps not from the 1800's, still offer up a wealth of vintage charm. The designs, inspired by antique tar stencils & industrial prints used in France in the 1900's are rendered on reclaimed linen an available in more motifs and on a more modest budget.

Current lead time: 1-3 weeks

Nearly all or my products are made using vintage linens which means that there will almost certainly be small variations in the weave and color from slip to the next. Original darns and irregularities in the textiles add to the charm of these artisan made gems. They work well grouped together in that stylistically they're similar but they may not match in the traditional matched set sense. I will make every effort to cut ordered pairs from the same cloth if requested but please understand that all my fabrics come from brocantes so I'm at the mercy of the market as far as quantity and variety! Additionally, as they are all handmade, no two will be exactly the same, especially not if ordered separately.
