My name is Nancy and I live in San Francisco with my Ocicat, LaLa in a big, all white, drafty railroad flat with my sunny workroom in the back that over looks my overgrown garden. My workroom is filled with all of my favorite things...beads...tons of beads, wire, chandeliers, lamp parts and an immense collection of light bulbs.
I have lived in the city since the 90's and I love it.

I am fascinated by light and electricity and I love creating beautiful treasures with my hands. Making beaded lamp shades has allowed me to combine my passions into one. In my perfect world I would stay in my studio all day and bead :-)

I started making lamp shades about 10 years ago after finding an old antique beaded light bulb cover at a local flea market. It was in disastrous condition so I took it apart and repaired it to its former glory which started me on the path to creating reproductions of the antique covers.

If you have an antique chandelier, sconce, candelabra, Newel Post lamp or any type of light that needs a light bulb shade in a specific size just send me a convo or a custom order request and I will happily make them for you.

Thanks for checking out LumiereSF!

I basically charge the same price for custom orders as I do for the bulb covers that are in my shop...unless you need something extra custom in regard to sizes and colors.
