5 out of 5 starsI had my Kentucky Derby bridal shower a few days ago and I cant say enough good things about my hat. I was getting compliments left and right as soon as I got there. You can tell Atelier Eight puts a lot of effort into the design of their hats it was great quality and the flowers on the hat looked very real! I would also like to compliment Atelier Eight on their professionalism. My hat unfortunately got lost in the mail during the holidays and took almost a month to get to me. Atelier Eight apologized and made it right. I would most certainly order from them again. Thank you Atelier Eight for this beautiful hat!

3 out of 5 starsThis item arrived in a timely manner. I was definitely disappointed when I opened the package. I expected it to have more height and sturdiness like the picture. Instead it was flat and not sturdy. The cage part is definitely smaller than in the picture, as well. It’s ok, but it’s not what I envisioned at all.

Can you make a career out of your talent and passion?
My shop started out not as a shop at all, but a 9 x 7 walk in closet. I started out hand painting wine glasses for a local wine shop. I expanded to a spare bedroom and worked from there for a year or so. Then a friend of mine showed up with a truckload of upholstery samples that we decided to upcycle into gorgeous totebags. Soon, Atelier Eight was actually born. I had saved enough from my wine glass profits to rent a hideous workspace that I have transformed into my beloved Atelier.
As time went on, the totebags kind of went by the wayside and now has morphed into bridal headpieces, hats, fascinators and communion veils. The hand sewing skills my grandmother taught me, combined with my own sense of style and creativity have allowed me to create some stunning one of a kind pieces.
