Growing out of Clay.
I was initiated to ceramics by a friend's mother who had a studio in her home. She taught me basic things like how to throw and guided me to make my first teapot. Ever since that time, I knew that I needed to have ceramics in my life in one form or another. I searched for venues like community centers where I could get my hands on some clay. I decided to enroll in university to do a fine arts program with a major in Ceramics, but after my first year, I decided that I needed to learn more technical skills. I found a school in my city that offered a formation in ceramics as a potter and have completed a 3 year program there. I am finally starting to spread my wings and sell my work in and around Montreal. I have been awarded a prize for my sculptures. I decided to start selling some of my work on etsy as a different point of sale.
