Longtime creative finds a place in polymer clay

With the combo of the quarantined year and a lack of work; I was drawn into the Polymer clay world on my birthday. I’m a Taurus over here! 🐃 I fell in love with crafting earrings, so naturally, I started AurisMade Design.

“Auris” is Latin for the ear. So much of my life has been impacted simply by my ears due to my hearing loss. I can talk a lot about the negative behind my ears but this shop is a way to celebrate them, by decorating your ears with my one of a kind statement earrings that will have you feeling like a Queen!

A Queen with light ears, because these earrings are very lightweight. This is good for those who have so much weighing down on their ears already; with your sunglasses, your COVID mask, your hearing aids, and your earrings. Oh, that might just be me.

I’ve always been creative with my hands. It keeps me sane. I once twirled as a majorette. I played with hand lettering and stationary; in addition, to carving out my own stamps and embroidering my clothes. I draw and doodle. I photograph professionally both digitally and on film. I garden, cook and I decorate for the holiday (yes singular, only Halloween). I even did a bit of ceramics in high school and college. But only been working with polymer clay for less than a year.
AurisMade is a combination of everything I've worked towards.
