This bead conveys a casual, yet understated elegance, just like my sister who is going to be surprised with this treasure. Many thanks.

About

What does your jewelry say about you?

With a simple piece of jewelry we can tell a story, we can demand attention, or make a simple statement.

AutEvDesigns, short for Autochthonous (oh TOCK thuh ness) Evolved, is based on the philosophy that everything is beautiful the way it was made, but we have the power to magnify our natural beauty with simple choices. Bright earrings can scream that we're vivacious, simple earrings can say that we're straight forward, but importantly, any jewelry choice tells the world that we're paying attention and that they should be, too!

Thank you for browsing my Etsy shop. I'm Julie Bowen. I believe that we are all naturally beautiful, but sometimes we like to enhance that beauty. I strive to use materials and make jewelry that can be described the same way. As a result my work is varied and I am always experimenting, trying to find new and better ways to put my philosophy into action.

Payment
I very much appreciate immediate payments through PayPal, and can accept major credit cards through my PayPal account. I will also happily accept money orders or personal checks from people with good feedback - just send me a convo and we can discuss the details.
Shipping
Items ship within a business day after I receive cleared payment. Even with items that offer free shipping I encourage buyers to purchase insurance for more expensive items; while I pack items very carefully, and I make sure the items I sell are not fragile, accidents do happen. Please convo me if you'd like to add insurance. If you would like your item to be shipped priority mail, no problem; for most items you'll just need to pay a flat rate of $5.25. I will also ship items worldwide, so if you live outside the U.S. please contact me for a postage quote, or look at http://www.usps.com/prices/priority-mail-international-prices.htm or look at the First Class Mail International rates for your country at http://pe.usps.com/text/Imm/immctry.htm.
Refunds and Exchanges
If an item is damaged in transit, and shipping insurance was purchased, a monetary refund will be made through the Post Office. If an item arrives damaged, or breaks soon after its first use, or even after repeated *normal* use, please contact me and I will make every reasonable effort to replace the item in question. I want you to love my work and continue to buy from me.
Additional policies and FAQs
I won't generally do large/bulk custom orders, but I love challenges and would love opportunities to fabricate something unique for you. If you see something you like in my store and would like me to make a version for you in particular colors, or with specific features, just let me know!
