About Hand Dyed Fiber - Since wool is a type of animal fiber, the dyes will vary from batch to batch. I use the same formulas for the colors and sometimes it will vary from the area of the fleece you are dyeing. Your computer monitor is not calibrated and the color may vary slightly from what you see. If you would like to see a sample lock, please let me know. When I run out of a listing I will be dyeing a new batch and taking new photos.

I raise my own sheep, feed them, have them sheared, hand wash and hand dye the wool. I dye in small batches due to the limitations of my small kitchen. Time also can become an issue when the weather is uncooperative. I've been able to get quite a few colors represented due to all the sunshine we've been getting. A few batches got a rainwater rinse!
