A while ago I had an exhibition in Tel Aviv where I sold some of my prints and original art. A friend of mine attended that opening gala and purchased two of my prints. About a year later, he went on a blind date. To his surprise when his date opened her apartment door, on the wall, right behind her, he saw two of my prints. "How come you own an Avi Katz"? He asked her. Turns out she got them at that same opening gala. Today they are married with kids.
Now...I'm not saying it's because of my art, but..... I'd like to think that my art had something to do with it.

Hi, my name is Avitz (Avi A. Katz) and I love to draw cityscapes. European graphic novels and animation are a big part of my life. They shape the way I view the world. My style can be described as blown up singular frames from a graphic novel.
Cities, urban landscapes, and architecture are my favorite subjects. I love electrical wires, streetlights, garbage cans, and signs. All of them make our streets pulsate with life.
Fun fact-I always make sure an animal or two is hidden in my art. This is to remind us that nature was here first and is always just a few feet away.
