About

Sustaining myself by creating beautiful things for you

This shop was started after some of my friends had been badgering - I mean, encouraging- me for some time saying that I should make the things I create available for others to buy, so I could sustain my hobbies and spread the love and beauty even further.

Knitting and crafting are some of the ways I've found to use my spare time which give me joy and make me feel like I can create things that might add something beautiful, however small to another's life.

When I create my items I enjoy working with the materials: the vibrance of the colour, the softness of the fabric, how the light reflects and makes an item sparkle.

I really enjoy helping customers, whether I'm working in retail at an organic shop, a desk job at a theatre or hosting a convention, giving them the best service I have to offer, whilst doing it with a smile, and a bit of humour.

When I sell an item, I'm always pleasantly surprised and honoured someone has picked my item out of so many options, and I find it amazing to know my creations are being worn far away from their birthplace, all the way to the other side of the globe. Comments like these, sent by someone who received a scarf of mine as a gift from a customer of mine clearly show why I love doing this: "Got to wear it today, felt so feminine. The red shades are so vibrant and the scarf itself feels like a lasting hug. Haven't stopped smiling since this came in yesterday!!! ♥"

When I started this shop, it was a good challenge at the right time, as I found to now have a lot of spare time due to illness. I like to try to make the most out of the little I have to work with, and constantly look for new or improved ways to create more with less. Other examples of things I've started like that are growing my own vegetables and using them to make jams and pickles to store or give away. I also enjoy baking, and it's always easy to share whatever comes out of my oven!

Welcome to my little online stall, thank you for stopping by. I hope you'll find something you like here. I really enjoy creating these.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I speak both Dutch and English. Please note, English is not my first language, but I do my best to keep my mistakes from being too atrocious.

All my items are created in a smoke-free, pet-free home.

Handmade items are all unique and will have small variations in colour and shape, and may be slightly different from the displayed photographs.

Allow me to let this wonderful testimony speak for me, this person was gifted the below linked scarf of mine by one of my customers, and sent me this message:
"Got to wear it today, felt so feminine. The red shades are so vibrant and the scarf itself feels like a lasting hug. Haven't stopped smiling since this came in yesterday!!! ♥"

Accepted payment methods

Payment
I accept PayPal payments only. Payments need to be made within 72 hours after ordering, otherwise the order will be canceled.

If you are unsure how this works, please read http://www.etsy.com/blog/en/2007/how-to-pay-with-a-credit-card-and-create-a-paypal-account/

If "Other" is temporarily available as a payment option, that means I have a specific agreement with one of my buyers to either pay cash, via national bank transfer or a swap. If you aren't part of that agreement, please do not use this method.

For Dutch customers:
You CAN use a PayPal account without having a credit card. To do this, add your bank account to your PayPal account instead. PayPal is very unclear about this unfortunately but please read this:
