Southwest Design Porcelain Herb Jars. All Handmade and finely crafted in our home studios.

Our designs are inspired by ancient art found throughout the world. Many of the designs are depictions of petroglyphs or pictographs. Others are inspired by basket designs, pottery designs and motifs from totems of ancient cultures. We strive to provide souvenirs representing the art that people see when they travel to archeological sites. This gives visitors an opportunity to take something with them that is not an original. It is important to keep the sacred sites intact. By providing an opportunity to purchase our product we hope that fewer people will feel the desire to deface or take original art home with them.

I live in Missouri now, but grew up in New Mexico and spent 30 years in the Southwest. The "Rain Dancer" petroglyph pendant is a nice reminder of a beautiful area and its interesting history. First day out, I received a compliment about the necklace. I replaced the black cord with a natural hemp string in earth tones (more to my personal taste) and like the results. I will likely order more from this seller.
