AzureFire's Shop Policies
The personal interaction between maker/seller and buyer are what make Etsy so different from other "stores". It is more like the experience when selling/buying at shows and festivals. So please feel free to "convo" me with questions or whatever.
I accept Paypal and Etsy Direct Checkout. You should make payment when placing your order, but payment needs to be made no later than three days after purchase. (If you are delaying payment, please let me know that you are and why, or I may think you've forgotten or missed a step.) When paying with a Credit or Debit Card, you may pay right on Etsy using Etsy Direct Checkout, or go to Paypal (whether or not you have a Paypal account.). When paying from your Paypal account, you will be redirected to Paypal as usual. For custom orders, I will create a reserved listing for you, and request payment be made prior to creating the piece.
***If you order more than one item, the shipping for additional items in most cases is much less. Etsy is now only showing the combined total shipping charge after you put the items in your cart.***

I ship USPS, either First Class or Priority Mail, depending on the item. The shipping cost approximates actual shipping charges, plus a small amount to offset packaging costs, and insurance. I try to break even on shipping overall, and not make a profit on it. Most of the time I ship within one or two business days, but sometimes circumstances might make it take a bit longer -- if there is going to be much of a delay, I will let you know.
Refunds and Exchanges
No returns or exchanges without prior approval -- please contact me no more than three days after delivery of the item. Custom orders are non-returnable and non-refundable. Exceptions are soley at my discretion. In the cases of a defective item, I will replace or refund, depending on what seems best to me. Other refunds will be at my discretion, and will not include postage. I want you to be happy with your purchase, so if there is any problem, please contact me so that we can discuss it. For legal reasons I need to be clear here, but I try to treat others as I would wish to be treated.
Additional Policies and FAQs
For orders from outside the United States: I can't know the regulations of all countries, so it needs to be your responsibility to know if an item is acceptable for import into your country. Remember, too, that you are responsible for any customs duty or taxes your country may choose to impose. The UK may charge VAT and a £8 post office charge on orders over £15, and they seem to be checking more packages. I welcome your business, but I don't want you unhappily surprised by unexpected charges.
I generally ship to addresses outside the United States using USPS International First Class Mail. If you prefer something be mailed by International Priority Mail (which costs considerably more), please contact me.
Allergy information: I work in a non-smoking home with a cat and pet rats. If you have any other allergy concerns, please ask me.
