T-shirt sizing details
Our T-shirt sizing has been simplified. Now ALL listings are standard box-cut unisex shirts, 200gsm thick cotton. All shirts are the same sizes - see the included chart in each listing. To request a ladies' shirt (please note not all colours are available in ladies'), please send a quick message and we will accommodate you at no extra charge and provide accurate size details. We have shipped many ladies shirts and other cuts, with very reliable supply, but felt this was confusing customers as to whether they could get the design they wanted in ladies or vice versa. Now all genders are equal!
Model photos are available - please ask. You can always request a custom from a huge variety of colours, shapes and sizes from us, it's up to you.
Garment care instructions
Please take note of these care instructions that are essential to ensure your garment has a long life:
• Wash at 40*C cotton setting, inside out. Vinyl can sustain up to 80*C but this is strongly discouraged!!
• Tumble dry safe on low heat
• Iron inside out (ironing will not damage the vinyl unlike most processes, in fact you can flatten it out this way)
• Please fold carefully and avoid scrunching
Following these simple care guidelines the graphic will typically outlast the shirt itself for many washes. Avoid cheap shirts using amateur processes that will break down in just 1 or 2 washes!
Decals can last 5-7 years outdoors and even longer indoors, depending on the vinyl (normally the former but sometimes slightly hardier stock is used).
Custom and personalised orders
For T-shirts there are no restrictions apart from the suitability of the graphic idea for the process we use.
For decals, currently we are limited to any colour up to 375mm by 2000mm (37.5cm by 2m) but can tile larger designs.
For glass you are generally limited to conical glass and in some cases curves glass (e.g. tulip pint) and more complex glass that has a suitable uniform area but unfortunately some glass is just too complicated to work on. Your average tumbler, pint (beer etc.), glass mug, milkshake glass, shot glass and so on is fine and we only use fully tempered shatter resistant glass from catering suppliers.

How do I apply vinyl decals?
Printed and illustrated instructions are included with every decal purchase. If you struggle, send a message or e-mail help@bjum.uk
Please understand we cannot offer replacement decals if the application is just done carelessly or the surface wasn't suitable, but may consider it if we can determine something went wrong due to a problem with the materials or craftsmanship only. If you are uneasy about whether it will work, order a spare decal for your first attempt.
But really it's just a very high quality sticker and it should be fine. :)
What happens if I am importing from outside the European Union i.e. USA or other countries?
The buyer is responsible for any and all customs charges, import duty etc. Please check your regional import duty/tax/tariff laws. We declare all items accurately in accordance with UK and international law. This includes the taxable value of the item listed in both GBP & USD and UK Trade Tariff classifications in an effort to speed up border control checks leaving the EU and entering the US. Invoices are attached as proof to avoid unwanted handling. Usually if your item is intercepted by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and liable for sales tax/charges they will contact you and ask you to pay them before the item can be forwarded to you by USPS.
Note that despite a 2016 referendum the UK is in EU until 2018.

Postage delays AKA where is my item?
Once items have left the studio and are in the hands of the Royal Mail, BJUM is not responsible for any unexpected delays in the UK postal service (Royal Mail) or customs. While in 99% of cases RM fulfil their quoted delivery times occasionally items are delayed, lost or go missing. This can also happen stateside with USPS. If this happens, please send a message and we will try our best to resolve the situation (which may mean sending out a replacement). Despite this, for substantial delays we usually issue a generous refund to your payment method, as we know how frustrating this can be, even if it's not usually our fault. We are dedicated to solving your problems to get the quality item and service you deserve. Please get in touch.
What is your processing/making/shipping/lead time?
As each item is MADE TO ORDER please allow up to 10 working days for your item to be crafted. As soon as it's ready it will be dispatched. Please see individual item listings for shipping information that varies depending on the type of goods (due to supply chain, difficulty, weight, shape etc). We offer international (standard and tracked/signed) shipping to the EU and USA, and a priority service (1-5 working days before next day dispatch) to the UK on some items.
Take the processing time and add the shipping estimate based on your location. Etsy should calculate this for you but you typically need to select the relevant options and do the maths. If you are unsure when the item will arrive, please contact us.
Will it arrive in time for X-mas?
As the delivery estimates provided by Royal Mail are not guaranteed we can't promise every item will arrive in time for X-mas so please always order as soon as possible. However, the last dates we can receive orders and ship them by Airmail to normally arrive by December 25th are 7th December for the USA followed by 14th December for UK and Europe. We get extremely busy for 2-3 weeks leading up to these dates so please do not hesitate to order. We make special effort to ship on time and sometimes even exceed processing times to give items the best chance of timely arrival. For US customers, please consider customs clearance that can add 7 days or more to your delivery time, varying from state to state and any tax due. We have no power here.
