Thank you for looking at my shop!

I'm new to Etsy and have a lot to learn so I welcome constructive criticism whilst I learn how to look after my customers properly here!

I learned to crochet as a child and still have the patterns from the 1970s and 1980s that relatives saved for me from magazines, or that I bought. I also have a handful of older patterns that friends have given me which were inherited from their relatives - so I have a couple of patterns from the 1950s, and the early 1900s!

Not everything that I do is worked directly from a pattern, some of the blankets that I make are my own designs.

As I am a very small business I only accept paypal at the moment.
I can't bear the thought of my hard work getting lost in the post - so I will send all UK orders by registered post. This has the advantage that you are guaranteed delivery of your item the day after it is posted! Registered post has to be signed for though - so I can arrange to post the item at a time that is convenient to you.

I am based in Cornwall in the UK, so if any of you live locally and wish to collect the item yourself, send me a message and I will issue a voucher to delete the postage cost.

I am planning to use airmail for countries outside of the UK. Please bear with me, I am still finding out about international customs etc!
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are not happy with an item and wish for a refund, the following conditions apply.

Please contact me through Etsy to let me know.

A time limit of one week applies and the item must be returned to me unused and in the same condition as when I sent it to you.

When the item reaches me, I'll inspect it before I send you a refund.

Postage costs for a returned item cannot be refunded. Your refund will be the full amount, excluding shipping.

If an item is damaged or lost in transit back to me, I mayl be unable to refund the cost, so please ensure items are well packaged and insured/tracked if you are concerned.

I do not accept returns or give refunds without prior communication and unless feedback is given. Failure to contact me immediately upon receipt of the item and/or leaving feedback will imply acceptance of the item or transaction as is. Prior to any full refund (paragraph above), a claim will be submitted with the postal authorities and photographic proof will be required for damaged or incorrect items.
